The complex skeleton-free coils used in early televisions and some micro and special motors were very difficult to fabricate with ordinary enameled wires. This kind of armature coil manufacturing process is quite peculiar. First, the single winding is processed and formed, and then each formed winding is formed into armature winding. Formerly, the single winding type is a method of fixing the adhesive on the outer surface of the enameled wire on the die and then baking, but this method is time-consuming and inefficient, while the self-bonding enameled aluminum wire
with heat-resistant composite coating can satisfy this kind of motor winding type process very well, and obtain very good economic results, which is widely used in hollow parts. Cup motor, self-adhesive coil, micro-motor, electronic transformer, sensor, electronic components and other key components of electronic products, and from small electrical armature to ordinary motor armature and transformer armature.

Almost all self-bonding enameled aluminum wire adopt composite layer structure, i.e. coat self-adhesive paint (self-adhesive layer) outside the general enameled wires (baseline). At present, foreign countries attach great importance to composite coated enameled wires, which have many varieties and good performance. Because the composite enameled wire is made of two (or three) layers of different materials, the composite wire has the respective properties of two different materials compared with the single coated enameled wire of the same material, which overcomes the performance deficiencies caused by the same material. In the structure of self-adhesive enameled wire with composite layer, the baseline is the main insulating part of the whole wire, which guarantees the insulating performance of self-adhesive enameled wire in a sense (except composite effect). The self-adhesive layer mainly meets the needs of coil forming process, plays an adhesive role and protects and enhances the baseline. The impact of the overall performance of the line)

Types of self-bonding enameled aluminum wire paint-based materials:

Acetal resins: Early self-adhesive lacquer-based components are polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin and polyvinyl formaldehyde resin. The most widely used field of PVF resin is the electrical insulation of electromagnetic wires. It can be used not only as baseline insulation (high strength acetal enameled wire, refrigerant resistant enameled wire, etc.), but also as self-adhesive layer of composite wire. PVF modified with phenolic aldehyde has self-adhesive property when coated on polyCool enameled wire. As a self-adhesive layer, PVB resin can cover most common enameled wires. Direct weldable polyurethane enameled wire is coated with PVB resin to make it self-adhesive and direct weldability at the same time. This thermoplastic self-adhesive wire is mainly used in small skeleton-free coils and is a traditional stereotyped product. It is noteworthy that the direct solderability of the same PVB self-adhesive paint coated on different polyurethane baselines is different. Due to the different content of - NOO group in polyurethane paint film (different resin composition) and the influence of coating process, the direct solderability of this self-adhesive line may be lost. The self-adhesive direct welding performance of enameled wires is improved significantly when appropriate accelerators are added. In order to improve the mechanical strength and comprehensive performance of self-adhesive enameled wires, there are also self-adhesive wires of polyurethane/nylon/butyral system abroad, i.e. nylon coating is added between baseline and self-adhesive layer. The enameled wires made of thermoplastic acetal resins are generally of low temperature resistance (A~E grade), but the presence of the - OH group in the acetal resin molecule can make the acetal not only cross-linked by itself, but also cross-linked with some thermosetting resins (phenolic aldehyde, acetic isocyanate, etc.) so as to improve its service temperature. The self-adhesive layer of the self-adhesive line is to use isocyanate to modify the PVB resin (including phenolic resin and viscous polyvinyl acetate resin), which can be selectively maintained in thermoplastic or thermosetting state through controllable curing steps according to the need. After bonding, the self-adhesive wire still keeps good bonding strength under less than 15 C. It is widely used in the manufacture of winding wires of fractional horsepower motors, including sealed motors (refrigerant-resistant) and ordinary motors.

Epoxy resin: The heat resistance of general epoxy resin is higher than that of acetal resin. Epoxy self-adhesive paint has better dilution and process. The corresponding self-adhesive wire can be used in class B situations. According to the patent, the self-adhesive line made from bisphenol A, epoxy resin and nylon copolymer by reaction of bisphenol A with epichlorohydrin and dicarboxylic acid has better properties than that of butyral self-adhesive line, especially good water and humidity resistance. Amine modified epoxy self-adhesive layer (containing cross-linking agent) can be fused at 125 C and further solidified into a non-fusible thermosetting state. Compared with fusible bonding, fusible bonding has higher bonding strength at high temperature. The adhesive layer can be thermoplastic epoxy resin or viscous polyvinyl acetate resin. The general self-adhesive line can not withstand the corrosion of Freon medium. The self-adhesive layer must have a chemical cross-linking bulk structure. Self-adhesive paint composed of bisphenol A epoxy resin and melamine resin has good refrigerant resistance. The corresponding baseline is polyvinyl acetate/phenolamine imide or poly-curimide/phthalimide composite wire, which can be used for refrigerant resistance and winding of sealed compression motor.

Zhaiphthalide amine resin: Compared with other resins, phthalide amine resin coated enameled wire has smooth surface and lubrication, small friction coefficient, and is convenient for high-speed winding. A certain amount of polyurethane acetate elastomer and a small amount of thermosetting resin (melamine, etc.) self-adhesive paint were added to alcohol-soluble polyphthalamide copolymers (nylon 610 and nylon 6 or nylon 66) to coat the self-adhesive wire. After solvent treatment, the self-adhesive wire was heated and bonded, and still had good adhesion strength under heating conditions. Deflection coils in TV sets generally require that the deformation caused by thermal factors and moisture absorption be as small as possible [deformation will cause the increase of deflection angle], and that the coils should be kept bonded at least at 130 C. It is difficult to add thermosetting resin to alcohol soluble copolymer nylon. Because alcohol-soluble nylon is viscous, it is easy to bond the wire and the wire frame together, and the thermal deformation of the formed coil is serious; while the bonding temperature of thermosetting resin is generally high (bonding at high temperature makes the performance of baseline and phthalamine resin affected to varying degrees), and the degree of curing sensitivity to baking temperature is not easy to grasp (enameled wire). Balance of flexibility and bonding strength. It has been reported that nylon 12 containing low melting point, non-alcoholic nylon copolymer (nylon 12 and nylon 6) which is not swelled by alcohol at room temperature are used with nylon 6, nylon 6 or nylon 61 from another group of nylon copolymer factories. The self-adhesive paint prepared by reaction with nylon 12 is coated on the polyvinylimide baseline and can be bonded at 160 ~C and maintain excellent bonding strength at 130 ~C. In addition, the surface of the line is smooth, the deformation is small, and there is no gluing phenomenon. The self-adhesive paint of phthalamines can also meet the requirements of F-class insulation.

Other resins: In addition to the general baseline, for F, H grade high temperature baseline and other special use baseline must be matched with the corresponding self-adhesive layer. These high-temperature self-adhesive materials generally use phthalimide and polymaple resin. The bonding temperature of these resins is very high, generally above 200 C. In addition, the self-adhesive layer of the refrigerant-resistant self-adhesive wire in the sealed motor is also made of thermosetting resin. The comprehensive performance of enameled wire is excellent. The baseline of H self-adhesive line of Rae electromagnetic wire is polyvinyl acetate/phthalimide composite line, and the self-adhesive layer is high temperature resistant viscous polyvinyl acetate.
